If the possible penalty from round 1 had been applied earlier, that penalty would have affected pairing of other rounds and possibly also the score of WorldSavior. Since any bucholz penalty to King_of_Nowhere at this point is no longer going to affect the score of WorldSavior, I assume that he has been happy with the bucholz of King_of_Nowhere until now. However, if any player who still could be put into disadvantage raises the issue, either via this thread or as private message to me, I must ask King_of_Nowhere to either show me his private messages regarding match-making with dershrimp between Aug 31st and Sept 10th for further reading or accept a penalty of one bucholz from round 1.

In round 1, I did contact dershrimp on august 31, stating that I'd be away at a chess tournament until september 10, and we could set up a game after that; we had time anyway as it was one of the long turns (incidentally, I made those long turns thinking some people may require 20 hours to play a big map, but it never happened). He did not reply. I came back from the tournament and I messaged dershrimp the day after, 11 september afternoon. He did reply two days later, to say that he had a change of schedule and could not play anymore. Nemesis was already getting a forfait from gunchleoc because she was unable to play that turn (also stated in advance) and so I decided to change the turn so I would face nemesis and gunchleoc would take the forfait - which was now necessary because we were 11.

By the way, I did declare in advance that I'd be busy at the beginning of september, in the very first page https://wl.widelands.org/forum/topic/2905/?page=1#post-21027

Tournament will start on september 1st. Since some people, including myself, are busy in september, I put a game on a large map first, so that there will be more time to play it and it won't matter too much if >one is missing for one week. I accepted much of worldsavior's criticism in revising my map list, but that is still subject to change if enough people are in disagreement. Edited: 08-07-17, 20:03

The exchange between me and dershrimp is still in my inbox. If you want proof, give me your email address and I will send you screenshots

Some changes are applied to the metaserver. Except build19 all Versions before r8503 wouldn't be able to connect to the metaserver anymore. So i f you want to play current trunk, you have to update your version:

Linux: bzr 8503 or newer Windows: Grab it from appveyor or newer as described in the wiki

Tino's latest version is bzr8508, so that's what Einstein and I will use.
