What about prohibition of creating new soldiers? Would it be better for "pure race"? You can't use more soldiers, so you have to think about building everything up in special way. Especially on big maps. einstein13 |

I really like that one because it could create some very interesting map when we can build ships. You place one artifact on every island and thus the game kind of becomes a race to who conquers the most island! edit: I was thinking, maybe the artifact idea can also serve for your other one too
When a all artifact are taken, the game ends and whoever had the most win as you said. So if there is only one artifact at a particular place then you simply need to take this one and the game will end with your victory Edited: 2015-09-30, 13:10

Nice Somewhere i have read that a quick expansion of territory is made best with sentries. A map could also contain some obstacles which couldn't be overcome with sentries.

There is a branch available to test the artifacts win condition. There is also one map available. It would be fine to have some more maps to test this win condition and provide them in the game later. So feel free to upload new artifact maps into bug 1508553 Fight simulator for Widelands: |
