Probably not. The problems with economy was before (Vineyards). But problems with Shipyard was the first one I've noticed. Strange is that in other games I didn't noticed the problem. Ships were producing normally. I've added a bug into launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1272257 Is it ok? (I've never done it before...) einstein13 |

WHAT?! Ok... I've never expected that the vine farmer will use 2 tools (in Settlers was only one, only soldiers had two...) So that was only my mistake. Sorry everyone!
The map is Kings and Queens, version 2 (https://wl.widelands.org/maps/kings-and-queens-v2/) an the port space is next to the orange player (south east from his headquaters). I can try it one more time with single player EDIT: There is a message "No use for ships on this map" (untranslated!) on the shipyard. So yes- one port is not enough to build a ship. (but I want to!!! :P) Edited: 2014-01-24, 10:48

The port spaces on that map were designed with the older version of Widelands, I was at that time unaware of some changes related to seafaring. I should (and want to) change that, problem is that each new upload erases all previous translations in all languages for that specific map. Top Quote |

Yes, adding a bug is always the correct choice. It will help us keep track of history of problems and even if it turns out that it is just a misunderstanding (as with the vineyard and its worker) it gives others to say: Well, I also found this strange - which really shows a documentation bug in the first place :). The version of "Kings and Queens" included with Widelands r6825 contains several port spaces, the ones on our website do not. I do not know what else is different though.
I do not understand what you want to say. The maps uploaded to the website are not translated (AFAIK) because they are not part of the "normal" game (and cannot be found on Launchpad). The maps in the game are not changed often (and are currently fine), so I do not see a real problem here. The last time that I re-uploaded a map that is also included in the game all translations disappeared. Top Quote |
