Hello folks, my problem is quite simple, I can't connect to the metaserver. Whenever I click on Internet Game it takes a long, long time to connect and then it just says "Error connecting to the server." I've tried looking for answers on the Internet, and nothing seems to match my exact issue. I'm running Build-16 on GNU/Linux and this is the only aspect of the game that gives me trouble. If anyone has had the same issue and has fixed it, please tell me how. Thank you and have a good day.

Hello NecroBanana, I am sorry to say, but your Widelands version is simply too old. The current metaserver supports only Build17 and Build18 as well as up to date development builds. After all Build16 is already 3 years old, so I can just tell you to update (which is of course a good idea anyway concerning the bug fixes and new features) Cheers, Nasenbaer

I am sorry, but this is currently not possible. You have to upload the image to a filehoster and post a link to the file. For help with syntax (also links and images) here in the forum see Sytnax Fight simulator for Widelands:

Can be... I think it is not usual, but for various reasons ISP can limits ports...

There was a problem with uploading maps which are build with current trunk. To solve this SirVer has updated the server .... couldn't find the topic/post yet... maybe the metaserver is changed too? Just a thought. Fight simulator for Widelands:
