Hi, I am playing since some time Widelands but I never ran into this problem. I have tons of soldiers in all military sites near my enemy. However when I try to attack the enemy it shows that 0 soldiers are available for attack. I actually do have 2 large military buildings with 12 solders each just next to the enemy. I am playing Atlanteans. Can I attach a saved game here? If so I can sent it. Thanks Marcel Top Quote |

Hi, are you shure, that there is no water or lava between you and you're enemy? Or something else? Top Quote |

It is pretty small there and there are farmers in front of the building but no there is no water or lava in between. I don't know how to continue the game since I cannot attack in this place. All I could do is destroy all buildings, wait for the enemy to come over and then attack. Doesn't make much sense. Top Quote |

Big buildings (like farms) need more space than small ones. You can test that by building a road around a big building. So it is possible that the buildings block the path. I am also not sure if soldiers can walk over fields where wheat etc. grows. If the farms are yours, the easiest way would be to destroy them. Then the fields become passable. If they belong to the enemy, you have to wait until a farmer cuts down the field so that is becomes passable. Uploading files directly in the forum is not possible. But if you want, you can upload your savegame somewhere else and then post a link here. I hope I could help you. If not, I will have a look on your savegame. The frams are from my enemy. I don't think in a war scenario soldiers would really care about enemy's corn fields I uploaded the save game here: https://www.transferbigfiles.com/70286126-304d-49ab-a8f6-aceb966bfe5d?rid=Jr_iX6xWHVVDRbBrU2oxpg2 How can I attack the green enemy after the round middle field in the game map? Thanks Marcel Top Quote |

The problem is that the first farm blocks the passage. This is a known bug that has e.g. been discussed here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/566970 This is the reason why I never play this map. I have "repaired" the map, so that you can go on playing: http://www.file-upload.net/download-4724290/jetzt-kannst-du-gruen-angreifen2.wgf.html I hope that this problem will be solved soon (although it does not look like that :-(). Sorry, this was not intended. When I tested it, it worked, and now it does not work any more ... Let's see if this one works: www.workupload.com/file/Rd7ApE9 (I've tested it, too.) "Only few people know how much one has to know in order to know how little one knows." - Werner Heisenberg Top Quote |

Thanks again - I looked at the file and there are many documents in the ZIP file. What do I do with them? Just overwrite anything I have in the original Widelands folder? Or how does this work? Sorry I am not a programmer just an addicted Widelands player Marcel Top Quote |

I'm sorry I cannot help you. When I download the file, it is a .wgf file I just copy into my .widelands/save folder (works with both Firefox and Chrome). Maybe that depends on the browser and/or OS you have. Try to rename the .zip file to .wgf and then test it. If that works neither, I can also describe how to "repair" the game yourself.
