I deleted the .widelands directory again and executed widelands from the command line. Wierd. But at least it appears that I am back in the water. Thanks everyone who commented! I did several clean rebuilds, did and debug build, but even gdb gives me absolutely no clue what happens. It seems something with my win32 build environment is wrong. I don't think something is wrong with the dlls, because Widelands should load all dlls on startup, so with a missing or wrong dll it should not get to the main menu. I will stick with my 64bit builds and abandon those 32bit builds. Top Quote

I wouldn't have tried the 32-bit build if I hadn't issues with my transition from build 18. I see little people. Top Quote
