Topic: Unable to install Build 18

I have Build 17 installed on Win 7, 64 bit. After downloading 18, running the installer and selecting file location and icons the installer hangs on the screen saying "preparing to install". At this point the drive is spinning but task manager says "not responding". I downloaded twice -- no improvement. Do I need to uninstall 17? Is there an alternate download? Thanks in advance. I can supply more info if needed.

Just wait some minutes. I think this happens when you install Widelands in an existing directory. The existing files have to be removed before the actual installation starts. "Only few people know how much one has to know in order to know how little one knows." - Werner Heisenberg
