hey, I just realized that the build instructions for fedora 20 on the wiki are outdated: the packages should be SDL2-devel, SDL2_image-devel etc. (instead of SDL-devel, SDL_image-devel). Also SDL2_gfx is not availabe on Fedora 20 at all, accoring to the package information (https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/SDL2_gfx-devel) it will be available starting with Fedora 21. However, downloading and building it manually just works.

SDL2 is new thing, so the same problem in the wiki is with other distributions. The problem is that there is one list and should cover stable version and trunk as well, and dependencies are being changed. But for myself I am going to edit requirements for arch linux to add sdl2 packages

I've built sdl2-gfx by myself to be able to build the newest widelands-dev-versions again.
