Hello everyone, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Stuart Eglington (DaaL) and I am your new Webmaster
I feel a bit of an explanation is called for, as I know none of you will be familiar with my name, and you may be wondering how i came to be in this position!
I only became aware of Widelands about 2 weeks ago, whilst looking for a decent game to play on Linux, and instantly became quite addicted, only to be disappointed when first meeting an opposing tribe to find there was no way to battle them.
It was my quest to solve this problem (download the latest SVN) that led me to the webside and the article "Webmaster wanted". As a professional web designer, one half of the website design company vegg.co.uk, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to get involved in the development of what I believe can be a truly brilliant game. A couple of PM's later and here I am!
