You need to optimize your use of land -- there is a bit too little of it for a fully fluent economy. Running the game at faster-than-usual speed makes things more interesting.
Key features:
- Almost no coal available, getting some using burners brings an advantage.
- Ships are good fellows of yours, in number of ways.
AI plays this map poorly (summer 2013), fun mostly with three human players. The starting positions are fair. Knowing the map in advance is an advantage -- for fair play, all should either know this or not know it.
