Since the variety of music officially distributed with WL is becoming bigger now, it shows that not each piece of music is fitting equally well for all occasions in the game.

I also guess that it makes a huge difference for the composers whether you write a particular tune for a specific situation, or try to create one that fits all situations.

Would it not be worthwhile to change the now random music selction in the game to something more specific? I could imagine that things like being attacked, attacking onesself, or maybe the productivity or traffic-jam situation could serve as trigger for selecting a piece of music that either the composer or the player would have declared as suitable for such an occasion. What do you all think about it?

Being no programmer, I apologize for all my suggestions that imply undue workload and for other misjudgements due to lack of expertise or relevant skills.
I am on Win32, have no means to compile, and rely on prefabricated distributions (Thanks to Tino).

RWise, I agree with Nasenbaer. We will never offer the functionality you come to expect from a decent mp3 player. Use the right tools. face-wink.png
