I just wonder if this new flag is used for Frisians, it seems to me it is not...

From some short spotchecks I gues you are right. I will create a new branch for balancing the frisians in the near future. I think it will be worth trying them in this branch and if results are promising adding this hint to other tribes as well.

just spotted that Nordfriese has added the hint to a fix branch. I did not have time to playtest yet though

Just watched a game between some AIs with my frisians-fix branch.

All AIs (except for one that got deadlocked) built several berry farms in places with enough space for bushes after the basic economy is achieved. None of them ever built a collector´s or beekeeper´s house, even though there was enough space and the economy needed fruit.

I double-checked all the ai hints flags, so this is not just a typo somewhere.

did you make a control run in the same configuration without the hint at all. (commented out)

I am asking because without the hint everything went fine so maybe it is in the code of the AI

I just compiled the branch, inserted some printf so that I dont need to watch the map and can positively say that AI is building collectors house (half of players within first 35 minutes).

But I see no beekeeper houses being built, I am going to investigate this..

OK after almost 2 hours I see first beekeepers house an then more of them...

I plan to include also frisian games into AI training so thing can get better a bit afterwards...

Perhaps I just had the bad luck to get some AIs that were particularly ill-favored by the genetic algorithm…

If you think the hint works as it should, I suppose the branch is ready for merging.

From what I saw my feeling is that the main problem is lack of building spots. If such site gets always low score, other buildings are systematically preferred and built...

I can promise that next round of training will be focused more on frisian tribe, so perhaps the situation will improve then. If not, we can look at this issue later...

So I vote for merging...
