I will have to forfeit the 2nd round too. Will be able to play in November.

I lost against Mars.

It was far closer than I thought it would be. Until the middle of the game. I clearly failed to produce enough wood at that point and that was a very weak point form my part. But I don't think I could have survived without this anyway. I didn't develop my army at all during the game, I think I would have been crushed faster either way. I think Mars was simply better than me on every aspect.

We had a bug at the end of the game. I think it's because the map is too large for our computers? We didn't exactly finish as maybe 20 minutes were left to play.

Awesome game anyway. Had a lot of fun. Always liked that map.

Not so long ago, GunChleoc told me that trunk has still a lot of bugs which cause crashes, so it would be better to use build19 in the tournament.

@GunChleoc: Is that still the case?

I am quite excited for this game. I was playing this map 2 or 3 times on multiplayer games. I would like to find a person who will beat me on this map. It was designed for my style of the game and I am looking for the better strategy!

(Un)fortunately there is 4-hours limit (Territorial time).

(Un)fortunately? face-grin.png Physicians and their weird quantum laws... face-grin.png

WordlSavior, do you want an autocrat revenge? face-grin.png Of course, out of the tournament.

As we haven't played yet, it's too early for me to think about a revenge face-wink.png

@king_of_nowhere: You told me that you would like to watch the match, but you don't have time. Should we send you the replays without telling the result immediately? So you could watch them with more tension.

If by tomorrow evening gunchleoc doesn't change her mind, I'm gonna put kaputtnik against hasi. No point having two people with forfaits when they can play against each other. And same for next turn. I will only inser her in the pairing when she is actually playing.

Also, considering both tournaments had people quit, next time the limit will be 14 players, not 12.

I have a bit of time as of the public holiday in germany.

Einstein and me changed our mind: We are not using trunk, but b19 instead.

or change the system. Make two groups (with 6 players or more), in which every player has to play against every other player in his group. 3 months time or something like that. so its no problem if one player has no time in September, he can just play in the other two months! And then KO-system....or new groups (one group for the ranks 1-6 and one with 7-12....or three groups?) to get a final ranking

By the way, I've found the post which describes the used swiss system algorithm exactly: https://wl.widelands.org/forum/topic/2750/?page=1#post-18596

If I didn't misunderstood your pm, king_of_nowhere, this post is also part of the rules of this tournament here.
