just an idea to be more distinguishable from wheat and barley

young corn is light green in color.
adolescent corn is darker green colored.
premature corn has brown blossoms at the top of the plant.
ripe corn has additionall yellowish green corncobs in the middle of the plant
overaged corn is getting greyish yellow.

plants may be a big taller from my point of view as well. As we don't need to keep scale with the buildings. (corn can be as high as 3 to 4 m in real life)

Anyway thanks for your efforts to make scalable graphics

It would be great to keep the stalks green and have some color on top like described ^^^, then making the stalks brownish for the ripe and harvested fields.

Just add some minor yellow pixels to the middle of the ripe plants?

Otherwise looks good to me face-smile.png

Much better. But if you loook at the pictures GunChleoc provided you might notice the dark green color of corn in its adoloscent and premature phase. If it is not to much work to do you could change the color of the plants in this direction. Anyhow this is already a major improvement over the old color spots.

I think so, yes face-smile.png Really great work!

Don't know though, if it will be in build 20. I am always unsure about the feature freezes face-upset.png
