The draft looks good

people preferred auto created everything even if the quality was poor as it meant they did not have to do anything.

It's less about not having to do anything, but about forgetting do to things. When I joined Widelands, the information in the encyclopedia was seriously outdated, because it stopped generating automatically. Same for the in-game help where values had been entered manually and were not correct. Giving the player wrong information doesn't hep them play the game.

I am always very much in favor of having something that looks good, but it has to be maintainable too. There needs to be some process in place for updating stuff and that makes sure that we don't forget to update it.

A thing we want for the in-game help is to make entries clickable - pretty much what battle for Wesnoth has. That would make navigating the thing faster and more convenient.

Have a comment at the code? Have a check-list before a new release? What about semi-automated solutions? Have a script checking if specific files got changed? Have a variation of the existing automation script produce warnings? Even if nobody is willing to update the hand-made illustrations, it should be easy to add some text-notes of what is outdated in them.

What's next now? How can it make it to the wiki?

Plus: Someone find the time and is willing to do that.

I guess no one would complain if you provide (and maintain) something like that.

You can upload the image to the Barbarianspage (or any other page) and link it in the text then face-smile.png

Thanks!

It's good to have both images side by side, because yours is easier to navigate, and the automated one has more detailed info in it.

@ ypopezios: By the way - gold can also go to construction sides, and iron can also go to barbarian construction sides. Just two little details.
