Hi there I enjoy playing the Widelands.
Thanks for adding a new font.

I hope that Japanese translators and players increase.

Regards,
Midori

Hi, I join the Japanese translation team today.
I have a question about the current status of Japanese translation team. (I couldn't get this info at transifex :D)
Who is in charge of Japanese translation?
Are there any policies specific to Japanese translation?
Any comments are welcome.

# I have been contributing to japanese translation of "the Battle for Wesnoth".
# As for Widelands, at least I can win against AI...

Welcome to the team face-smile.png

The Japanese translation team doesn't seem to be very active at the moment. We have some general guidelines at https://wl.widelands.org/wiki/TranslatingWidelands/, but I'm not aware of any policies specific to Japanese. I recommend that you make use of the glossary function to help you with translation consistency, especially for unit names.

You're welcome - let me know if you have any other questions. You can also open Issues on Transifex if you want to catch my attention.
