A trainer can be made from basic weapons in a warehouse. Basic weapons are placed in barracks to make new soldiers. So as long as you're making new soldiers, you are not making trainers. Some of your training buildings may remain empty even though you produce plenty of weapons.

Possible solutions:

  • barracks can make trainers as well as soldiers now

  • trainers no longer need weapons

This was discussed when the barracks were introduced. The consensus, if i remember right, was to have three trainers in the starting conditions so beginners aren't stuck with missing trainers. Experienced players, who may need more than three trainers, can handle this by reducing the weapons in the barracks. For some reason a decision was made to not make trainers in the barracks.

In my opinion a trainer should need weapons. Otherwise he is the same as a carrier.

It seems the trainers become a similar problem as the trees ... face-grin.png

I can't remember the discussion about the barracks and trainers, but consensus here seems to be almost perfect face-smile.png
