I would like to suggest that building names and building informations (keys s and c ) don't vanish so early if you are zooming out. The fact that they do so make the zooming function a little bit pointless, I see a waste of potential here...

The soldier icons vanish much later, that's not so bad, but here it would be better if they would vanish later, too.

Maybe be it would be good if all the stuff wouldn't vanish at all...

This fits for me.

I'll see what I can do on the uncluttering soldier stats branch

Done.

Commit message:

Do not switch off census text or soldier levels when zooming out. Only switch off statistics when they don't fit any more. Completely switch off all census, statistics and soldier levels while mapview is transitioning via minimap or script. Fixed text positioning.

One more suggestion: Making the new animations - which happen if you change the location on the minimap - optional. I would appreciate it if this could be choosen in the game. I don't really like those animations. They cost you too much time if you are attacked on several fronts - you can loose military buildings because of those animations - or if you are checking all buildings of a certain type, which should be fast...

And as someone who doesn't care a lot about graphics, I think that the animations don't have a big benefit face-wink.png

We had been discussing this in a bug and there was no consensus - now we have consensus to remove this feature.

It's interesting that my opinion doesn't affect the consensus face-tongue.png

How is that? You want it gone as well.
