Is it possible to show the "build statistics" not only in the statistics but also in the "build menu". I think it would be very helpful while building a new settlement.

Somehow i don't really understand this.

Are the "build statistics" in the statistics the percentages of "build"?

And what is the "build menu"? The window which you can open with "b"?

I mean: How could one show those percentages there?

Sorry for not reading that much in the related thread face-wink.png

"Buil statistics" means showing the amount of buildings of this type.

And what is the "build menu"?

The window which opens if click on one of the red/yellow/green marks on a map.

The window which you can open with "b"?

The window opened with "b" is called "Buildings statistics" and was the result of the discussion mentioned in the other thread.

Mostly in the first few hours of a new game i do not know anymore if i have already build a specific building. To check this i have to open the buildings statistics window. It would be better if the amount of buildings of each type is shown in the build menu (opened by clicking on a building mark on the map). Then i could see instantly which building is missing or how many buildings of a specific type i have already build.

Good idea - I have created a bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1694385

Maybe it would be enough to have a button for the buildings statistics in the build menu? Or just add the information, how many of the specific building exist / are under construction in the bottom tooltip, which at the moment only shows the name of the building and the necessary materials.

Aha, "Build statistics" means "building statistics" face-smile.png

Aha, that one... Now it makes sense

Yeah, now it's also on my wishlist.

It might be enough, but it seems to be a nice feature. But take in mind that there is already the "b" button since build 19 to open the building statistics face-smile.png

Or just add the information, how many of the specific building exist / are under construction in the bottom tooltip, which at the moment only shows the name of the building and the necessary materials.

I think that's exactly what has been suggested.... If I'm not mistaken again...

Not quite - the tooltip is the text that pops up when you move your mouse over something. Advantage: it saves space

The original suggestion is to show the info below the building buttons. Advantage: you see the stats at once

Ok. #2 is much better imho... if you build something, the window will be open only a short time anyway...
