If you play win condition wood gnome, and one player (who has got trees at his terrain) gets defeated, the tree statistic starts to show a linear growth of trees (which actually doesn't happen) (in dependence of the number of trees on the terrain). If you want to understand what I mean you might do - for example - this: 1. Choose the map crater with win condition wood gnome and take a Fortified Village as starting condition. 2. Destroy your warehouse. That means you are defeated 3. Look at the tree statistic - there is the growth

(sometimes it crashes when I did that)

By the way: It surprises me that this wasn't discovered in the tournament. But who cares face-wink.png

I think this is correct as long your territory does not shrinks.

Burning down the warehouses does not shrink the owned territory, so the amount of trees stays where it is.

No, it's not correct at all. It's not the normal tree growth, it's a bug in the statistics

From my knowledge wood-gnome counts the trees which grows on own terrain, not logs in warehouses. Maybe i do not understand your point...

Ah, now i get it face-smile.png

Maybe this growth comes from self seeding trees?

it's true, just checked for myself. you destroy your warehouse, and suddenly the number of trees grows at the rithm of hundreds per minute. maybe it keeps adding every minute the trees you own into your land? anyway, it wasn't found in the tournament because no one went all the way at killing the opponent in the wood gnome round.

@kaputtnik: No big problem... Maybe it's me who has to be sorry because I was a little bit harsh. And it's not necessary that you are quiet...

Look, the growth that is shown is much much stronger than the growth of self seeding trees. It's so strong that the statistics become useless if you don't hide the defeated players in the statistics... And that's annoying... That's it, basicly...

@king of nowhere: That's what I guessed, too - that's why the growth is linear, and it depends on the trees on the land....
