Today I was testing something with build 7428 AI.

I could see on desert map that:

  • AI conquered some space.
  • From behind the second AI conquered some space of first AI and disconnect part of empire was unconnected to the main one.
  • That was temporary and the AI finally could connect the space again (with terrible lose, of course)
  • The AI wasn't able to connect the spot through "buildable" places, only through desert ("passable")
  • There was no connection made at all:

Einstein, a picture would help, or two...

I would say the distance was simply too big - there is a threshold (as for everything), but without image...

Yes, this is quite uncommon situation when there is big stretch of territory without militarysite nearby. It happens only under some circumstances. I can tweak the code a bit, but please create a bugreport.

EDIT: I can not see a picture in post #1. Only some placeholder...

I can see it... so maybe it is related to your browser settings? Some Adblocker? It's a big picture which destroys the website layout. Don't know if this is the reason you don't see it.

Hi, I forgot - there is one branch of mine still waiting for merge and it is possible that this stuff was changed there. So do not enter a bug yet...

Is there a button somewhere in LP that would list all pending merge requests of a project?
