Hi, If you have a huge map, with about 4 or 5 or even more ships, you can make a view window to follow the ships. But I see the ships in the window and do not know what ship it is.

Is it possible to give the ship a name or number, so that you can see in the windows what name or number you are following

I think it should be possible and not complicated.

Open a bug report on launchpad (registration is needed I think)

There is already a bug report on this topic (individualize ships by name): https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/963842

And another one about some kind of ship statistics: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1358880

In the last one there is a proposal to give each ship an individual name when it's constructed, depending on the tribe. Maybe it will also be possible to change that name.
